The Tournament of the Knights is a fully themed Mediaeval style Banquet featuring first class entertainers and characters, combined with light-hearted game activities.

Summary of a typical event...
This event works best at suitable 'old' Hotels, Country Houses and Castles but can, in theory, be provided at any location. We will meet and liase with the venue to ensure appropriate food and beverages, scroll menus, crockery and staff dress. to authenticate the event as much as possible.
Guests will be asked to attend in casual clothing. On arrival they will be greeted by your own volunteer King and Queen and dressed in a tabard style robe. Guests are divided into two teams - the Black Knights and the White Knights - and normally seated on two long tables. Two ladies in each team will become 'Princesses' and will supervise their team from the head of their tables. The Princesses will appoint six Knights from the members on their table, each of whom will take part in a one-on-one Tournament Game versus a Knight from the opposing side. The overbearing Kings Courtier, speaking only in rhyming couplets, hosts the event from start to finish adding an authentic and entertaining narrative. Musicians and other entertainers perform at intervals throughout the evening.
The tournament games - a test of wit, strength and dexterity include: Archer's Challenge, Hobby Horse Jousting, Stumps, Walk the Log, Giant Jenga and Test of Strength. At the end of the Tournament the team with the most 'wins' will be declared the victors. Prizes may be awarded to the winning knights or winning team to suit your budget. Wherever possible we will conclude the entertainment with a fire juggling display in a nearby outdoor location.
Variations...
In addition to the standard package detailed above, a close-up conjurer adds to the intrigue, or a further character will allow us to incorporate a spectacular sword fight finale to Tournament of the Knights. We can also provide 'Buxom Serving Wenches', themed costumes for hotel staff, Mediaeval style cutlery and crockery or any other ideas that you may like to suggest.
