Scalextric events can be run in various different formats ranging from open play at events with large numbers of guests to carefully structured team competitions for up to 32 participants. For groups up to 64 a knockout basis becomes ideal. When open play operates we normally record race times to establish a winner on the night, or the drivers with top times can be recalled for a final race. As the rounds progress so the races become longer, culminating in an exciting 15 or 20 lap Grand Final.
The tabletop layout measures 5 metres x 2 metres and requires a minimum room size of 8m x 6m. We normally operate replica cars of the four major Formula 1 teams (Ferrari, McLaren, Jordan & Williams). Other types of cars are available on request. A small Trophy and bottle of 'Bubbly' are included on every event to be awarded to the overall individual 'Champion'.

Our format is completely flexible and will be structured to suit the guest numbers and your situation and objectives at your event. For added interest we can operate side betting with our 'bookmaker' offering odds on the drivers in each race. Another optional extra is to run a team event on the theme of a Formula 1 season. A public address system can be incorporated for larger events and additional theming can be provided, including Formula 1 race videos shown on a giant screen. As an optional extra, coloured 'team hats' and driver name badges can be issued for identification.
