Using both physical and mental skills, competing teams unlock the hidden secrets of a town or city as they race to solve clues and navigate themselves to the finishing line. Team work, effective communication, physical stamina and mental agility are all essential attributes if your team are going to become winners… and finish 'Streets Ahead' of the rest!

summary of a typical event...
Streets Ahead is a team event with the members becoming either 'runners' or 'thinkers' working together co-operatively, solving clues and navigating the local streets and landmarks of your chosen destination. Team members may be given coloured caps for identification and personalised clothing can be arranged when appropriate. The game is best suited to being run over about two to three hours during daylight. Teams are assigned and receive their mobile phones (if required), a compass, Polaroid camera, local maps and essential reference material.
Teams have to nominate their two 'runners' to go out on to the streets, whilst the remainder of the team become 'thinkers', staying at the base working to solve clues and guide their 'runners' to specific destinations using only their compasses and mobile phone communications. Once all of the tasks have been successfully completed, the first team to return their runners back to the central location is the winner!
Throughout the event our compère will keep everyone up to date with news and information while the adjudicators provide any necessary communication with the teams and ensure fair play! Team progress is displayed on a giant scoreboard or, for larger events, on screen via PowerPoint presentation. The event culminates in an award ceremony at which winners are presented with medals and champagne.
