Summary of a typical event...
The most senior team at the UK's National Disaster Command Centre…and you're it…and there's a crisis threatening national safety - how will you make decisions, solve problems and ultimately contain and minimise the damage? Taking roles such as the Prime Minister, Defence Secretary, Head of MI5 and Head of the Armed Forces you will make decisions from a sealed room in the Command Centre that will ultimately aim to contain the crisis. News will be fed in from the various media and updates on the situation will be provided for you via various mediums. You can consult your individual departments by phone for information which they may or may not be able to provide you with. Effective team working will assist you in reaching your goal, as will the ability to remain calm under pressure, make calculated decisions quickly but effectively and understanding how best to solve problems for the good of the country. Tough decisions will need to be made, and they may not always be pleasant. You are 'Crisis Command', Good Luck!
