You want to be a Millionaire?

Can you make a successful backpacker? Maybe, if you utilise effective team working skills to make decisions under pressure, manage your time, organise logistics and solve problems as they arise! Teams take on the role of a ‘backpacker’ in this fast paced, challenging and highly enjoyable game. Be wary of world events or personal crises that may occur and affect your travels!

key features...

Summary of a typical event...
“Backpackers” depart from London and travel to a number of the glamorous destinations on our world map. The game lasts 80 minutes, with each minute representing a day in the life of a modern day “backpacker”. Teams nominate roles including a team leader, and a “runner”, who sporting their “backpack” communicates their team’s decisions to our staff. Each team is given a pack containing an introduction to the game and how it works, a travel timetable, passport, “SOS” vouchers and US Dollars. Teamwork is vital as decisions have to be made under pressure…
Which mode of transport can you afford? How quickly do you want to get there and how long will you stay? Will you work to earn money or take one of our challenges to earn points? Each team will have an adjudicator to record progress and to hand out information profiles on arrival in each country to assist the team with challenge answers and provide information on work available and rates of pay. The digital display clock gives an audible warning sound as each minute is about to pass and our compère with the aid of the giant progress / score board comments on team progress. Points are accumulated by progress and on completion of successful challenges. The team with the most points at the end wins the game!
